Congratulations!!! This is exciting, interesting, and so laudable. Lida Farm is a great model for stewardship, personal commitment, and leadership in so many ways -- I'm proud to be able to say, "Oh, yes, I know those folks and not only do they do great things, they are wonderful people with beautiful children and know how to find joy in everything they do!"

I'm looking forward to the new growing season and to Spring, and to the farmers' market, and the new community gardens in DL. Thanks for your contribution to all these things, too!

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I am 99% certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
